Volunteers
Stembridge
Youth Baseball is run solely by the work of volunteers. Parents of the
players provide the majority of the help. However, you do not need to
be a parent to volunteer. The league can use help in the areas of coaching, concession stands, fund raising, and field maintenance. Stembridge Youth
Baseball is also looking at forming committees for trophy/award
ceremonies, the concession stand and the opening day parade. We need
your help!
Show your support for this program by volunteering your time. You are
encouraged to become involved in your child's youth sports programs. It
is a rewarding experience!
Conduct
We
at Stembridge Baseball want your child's baseball experience to be
positive, safe, and, most importantly, fun! The conduct of coaches and
parents directly influence this experience. Therefore, it is asked that
all coaches and parents follow these simple rules:
- Encourage good sportsmanship
- Place emotional and physical
well being of all children ahead of any desire to win
- Demonstrate positive support
for all children, parents, umpires, and league officials
- Understand that Stembridge is a
volunteer organization and requires the participation of parents. This
includes bringing your child to practice and games, assisting with
coaching when needed, volunteering at the concession stand, helping
with special events, and fund raising.
- Be respectful to all players,
coaches, parents, umpires, and league officials.
